*Non runner’s running blog* - update week 2/3
For run 3 of the week, I even took my dog for company and he enjoyed going on a faster leg stretch than usual. Extra happiness all round, so fingers crossed for week three……..
Believe and you will succeed
Even though i was freezing cold, tired, hungry and by body hurt lol i felt truly amazing, i thought this is why someone wants to run 13 miles for fun , because it makes you feel fantastic after. I have decided this week i plan to work on my weight training to strengthen up my legs.
Strong and stretchy (and not just the leggings!)
on top of some kettle bell work in the gym and some evil sets of burpees given to me by my personal trainer, I have gone back to yoga today, rocking my gorgeous sugar skull leggings.

After encouraging Clare to join a local Martial Arts Club, Rob became a gym widow as his wife was literally fighting herself to fitness.
They decided to look for fitness activities they could enjoy together and with their four-legged family members, and Virtual Racing quickly became a regular challenge for them as individuals and a family.
Animal mad Clare looks the predator series and doggie dash challenges and the ongoing annuals are keeping Rob on track as he has signed up to his first ever LIVE ½ marathon in September and hopes to achieve a full marathon before he turns 50!

This is when I found Virtual Racing. There are plenty of other site that offer medals, but I liked the sound of ‘Chrimbo Limbo’, the website was very professional, the videos I saw were very welcoming, caring and seemed to offer the support and encouragement I was looking for.

When I turned 40, I realised that instead of moaning about the way I looked and felt and blaming everything other than me I decided to get off my backside and do something about it. I started losing weight, started cycling and loved every second of it.
