This November we are once again remembering the Animals In War with a challenge dedicated to commemorating animals that served and died in wars and conflicts.
The creatures ranged from mules in the Burmese jungle in World War 2, to glow worms, used by soldiers as a source of light to read maps in World War 1. And of course our four legged friends, military working dogs and service dogs.
To show our respect in remembering these heroes, we are asking entrants to run, walk, cycle or swim 11 miles or 11 km. In one stint or multiple sessions throughout November and will be donating from every entry to the amazing animal Charity.
This beautiful, sparkly, poppy loaded purple medal design is your reward for completing the challenge. (It is the perfect medal to earn alongside our usual Red Poppy Medal which will also be available in November and that one will be supporting UK Homes for Heroes)
Please note you are paying to enter the Virtual Race. The medal is a reward for completing the challenge and submitting evidence by the deadline date.
